About this layout

Celest was born in Birmingham, England November 6th of the year 1704, to a Walter and Marie Koenig, German nobles, that carried a small fortune that was gained from the sell of livestock. The happy girl was raised as nobility and as such she was pampered with any and every luxury the child's heart desired. from toys to jewelry, if Celest wanted it was hers. Life could not have been better for Celest on the eve of her twenty-fourth birthday, being fortunate enough to be wed to the man of her dreams, A young British Land owner with a fair amount of property in the Americas. Lucky enough for Celest her wedding was on the same day as her birthday.

It was that night, The eve of her wedding and her birthday when while out and about with her soon to be husband that Celest Life changed. in a span of no more then four seconds a knife, hurled by one of a pair of thieves struck her finance in the head, killing the young man almost instantly. as Celest knelt down next to her dying Love, the second thief sprung from the shadows pulling the woman back with him into the shadows, a blade, not unlike the one that had ended her Lovers life, held firmly to her back. from that point Celest does not remember the events that lead up to her death, but the feeling of the knife slicing into her heart is one that will forever remain fresh in her mind.

There was nothing but Blackness when the thief pushed the woman free of his blade, letting her rest on the cobblestone before rummaging through her clothing, pulling anything that seemed to hold some value free of her outfit and her person. She did not know how long it had been before the breath of life once again rushed into her lungs. slowly she pulled herself from the alley way, and into the sight of a small crowd that had gathered around her Lovers corpse. Immediately Celest was scooped up into the arms of a constaple. after pointing down the alley she had just dragged herself from a pair of men rushed past her to search for the people that had done this to her and her fiance. The years following the events that acceder that night went by uneventfully in the eyes of Celest, though she wondered how she had felt her heart stop, and in the same day felt it start beating again where a mystery to her even still, at the time she just chalked it up to divine intervention, but as the years passed and the few friends she held onto grew old, and withered, while Celest herself remained in apperance of the twenty-three year old woman.

It was not until she was nearly sixty years old that she met a woman, her name was Calypso Kordella and she would be the person to teach Celest about what she was and why she would not age. Calypso took Celest into her home, as if she was a sister. The decades following where kind to Celest, the woman had come to grips with the fact that she would live forever. Calypso Taught Celest many things about what she was, and what she must eventually have to do. This was of course the inevitable fight for her life among other Immortals like herself. In order to protect herself from being easy pray for others like her Celest practiced sword fighting, because from what Calypso told her; that was the most common way to battle others like herself. of the many forms of sword fighting she practiced, Celest took a certain fondness for the art of fencing. Among other things Celest also spent a great deal of her time studying Law, though at the time she knew it was illegal for a woman to practice, there was no harm in one learning about it was there?

Needless to say it was a great shock to Celest when her mentor Disappeared from their home in Birmingman on the dawn of the twentieth century,. There was no note, was any of Calypso's things gone, the woman had simply vanished. It was from that day that Celest left Birmingham for the first time in her life, and moved to London, hoping the capital of her homeland would be a good place to look for her lost Mentor though the better half of the time she spent in Bar working as a server or a dancer, Celest did not need the money from these jobs for she still had access to hr family fortune, not to mention the money left to her by Calypso before she left. Now the woman owns one of the most respected law firms in England. She it "Koenig & Kordella"(Or K & K for short) to pay homage to both her birth name and her adopted name.
